This Irish Wool 5-Gauge Sweater from Filson is crafted in Italy from wool yarns with maximum heat-trapping loft. It’s knitted with specialised machinery that creates very uniform, consistent stitching. The yarns are spun with a technique that traps air between the fibres, making this sweater exceptionally breathable and lightweight but deceptively warm.
The body is constructed with a Jersey stitch and the collar, cuffs and hem with a 2×2 rib stitch. Raglan sleeves provided ease of motion. The wool is certified under the Responsible Wool Standard, a voluntary standard to ensure the welfare of sheep.
